The three Three Parks Route Reserve Natural Parks sailing cruise is a really amazing itinerary. The route includes the Maddalena Archipelago, the Asinara National Park, the Lavezzi Islands and Cavallo Island for a minimum stay of one week. This is definitely one of the best itinerary in all the Mediterranean sea: crystal sea untouched nature, wonderful beaches and bays. Environment like no other, without any kind of pollution, neither in the air, nor in the sea. You will enjoy swimming, diving and snorkelling or just an exclusive cruise inside the sanctuary of Marine Mammals in one of the last paradises of Mediterranean Sea..

Three Parks RouteDuring this sailing route you will also often see dolphins and many species of rare fish and birds. The boat we use are all “Ecological Boats” with the permission to sail the marine protected areas. The skippers are specialized in sailing marine natural reserves and have a great knowledge of these waters. Below you will find e brief description of the route but no words can tell you the charm of the spots you will admire during your enchanting sailing yacht charter in this three Marine Reserve Natural Parks. We suggest you not to go in peak season (August). The rest of the year you won’t be obliged to share this marvel with many others.

Asinara Island
Asinara constitutes the last island Asinaraof a certain dimension - within the entire Mediterranean area - which does not have an important residential settlement. The National Park of Asinara protects an area located off the north-western point of Sardinia and includes the Island of Asinara and its surrounding waters. Mediterranean scrub completely covers this island. The western coast is elevated and has steep slopes while the eastern one lacks any height. This small herd of mouflons, descendants of a pair introduced tens of years ago, pastors in the roughest rocky areas.
Asinara The island is populated by a group of small, white donkeys, which characterise the park and give these places a mysterious atmosphere, considering that their origin is unknown. The most numerous animal species are most certainly the birds: the Sardinian partridge, peregrine falcon, herring gull, green cormorant and the rare Corsican sea gull. The sea bed surrounding the island is enriched with animals such as coloured anemones, starfish, Mediterranean fanworms, horny coral, octopus, morays, groupers and white sea bream, which live in an environment characterised by ample stretches of underwater prairies of oceanic Posidonia. Numerous findings of flintstone and obsidian date human presence on the Island of Asinara to pre-nuraghic periods. Here, there have been various findings along the coastline of wrecks and lead ingots sealed during the Roman Era. The buildings of historical interest are the monastery built by the Camaldolite in the XII-Century in the town of S. Andrea, the fortifications (to be remembered are the Towers of Cala d’Oliva, Cala Arena and Punta Trabucato) and the ruins of Castellaccio on the Fornelli Hill.

Bonifacio
Like a masterpiece that the final touch must sublimateBonifacio, the gods only could give Corsica, in its extreme south, a unique place of interest. This one takes the look of a white ship which proudly attacks the open sea: Bonifacio! No one can resist neither the fascination of this old town which is dazzlingly white, nor the appeal of its old alleys which climb up toward the sky, and bordered by the cliffs from where the isles of Lavezzi and Cavallo, or Sardinia can be seen, you will be maybe pray to a vertigo which you could not say if it is physical or, in front of so much audacious beauty, just simply mystic !

Budelli
The island of Budelli Budelliis famous above all for its splendid Spiaggia Rosa (Pink Beach), one of the most beautiful in the Mediterranean, to be absolutely visited for the great amount of foraminifera and other marine micro-organisms which, ground by the waves and spread over the shore, give the very fine sand a special pink colour, well matching the surrounding granite rocks. The highest point on the island is Monte Budello (88 m) from which splendid views open onto the nearby islands of Razzoli and Santa Maria, the Sardinian coasts and the island of La Maddalena. Other interesting places of Budelli are the beaches of Cala Piatto, Cala Cisternone, Cala di Trana and Cala del Cavaliere. The last one - facing the channel of Cecca di Morto o Porto della Madonna, formed by Budelli and the islands of Santa Maria and Razzoli - offers once more an incomparably transparent sea.

Cavallo Island
Cavallo Cavallo Islandis a French island, very close to the southern tip of Corsica. It is privately owned, so access is limited. Cavallo island is a private exclusive resort, with air-strip, villas and small central piazza. The waters here are not easy to sail, so we strongly suggest to sail with our skippers. Even if not easy to sail the environment is wonderful, made of crystal sea, white beaches and Amazing bays. There is an exciting narrow passage northwards close to the coast, passing the Pertusato golf course and the Isola Piana's shallow emerald waters, providing a unique swimming spot. Cavallo Island is breathtaking destination for a real charming sailing holiday among Corsica Coast, Emerald coast and the luxury French Riviera.

Lavezzi Islands
LavezziLavezzi is an amazing island, the environment is enchanting and totally virgin: between the numerous figures and rocky heaps, the small tiny sand creeks compete with the big tropical beaches. Lavezzi Islands are listed in the Unesco World Heritage. There are no hotels on the Lavezzi Islands. No cafes, either. Not even a single toilet. And that's precisely why people come. Classified as a Natural Reserve by France in 1982, the islands, in the strait between Sardinia and Corsica, have been protected from development. But there hasn't been any shelter from the wind. Without buildings to break them, gusts have whipped the islands' granite into fantastic shapes.
LavezziIn the coves between the rocks are protected spots of empty, sandy white beach. The clear water is teeming with anemones and fish, particularly grouper (merou in French), which explains why divers know the islands as Merouville. The winds also caused one of the Mediterranean's worst shipwrecks. On the 160-acre main island (the only one that's more than a pile of rocks), a hiking path leads to a 46-foot-tall pyramid-shaped memorial for the sinking of the Semillante in 1855. We suggest to visit Lavezzi in low season (May, June, September October), when the prices of the sailing charters are good and you can easily be the only one in its wonderful bays. Come to discover Lavezzi during your unforgettable sailing vacation among Corsica, Maddalena Archipelago and Emerald Coast.

Maddalena Island
The Island of the Maddalena La Maddalenahas maintained the fascinating aspect of an ancient fishing village, in stark contrast to the artificial tourist villages of the Sardinian coast, the islands of the Archipelago have been preserved almost intact. The pink granite of many hues emerges magnificent from the Mediterranean vegetation, fragrant with the perfume of myrtle and rosemary, which turns to forest in the hidden coves make of Maddalena one of the favopurite destination of sailing charter in sardinia. The beaches are made up of fine white or rose coloured sand bathed by crystal clear waters. In reality only the wind and the terrible storms of the Bocche di Bonifacio rule here, they model the rock formations and the vegetation and for tens of years have had an effect on tourism. The spectacular scenery would fascinate anyone but especially nature lovers who will appreciate the endemic wildlife: the Bedriaga lizard, the coral coloured beaked Corsican seagull colonies, the wild rabbits and the passage of wild migratory birds in spring and autumn.

Razzoli
Razzoli is, without doubt,Razzoli the steepest and most uneven island of the archipelago: thanks to this characteristic, it offers the most interesting examples of granite clusters, which assume really “artistic” shapes along many stretches of its coast. The best approach is from Cala Lunga, a small submerged valley into which the sea creeps, taking splendid colours, through a forest of rocky spurs, variously shaped by erosion. The highest point, near the southern coast, is Monte Cappello (65 m), reachable by a short and easy climb so as to enjoy unforgettable panoramas over the archipelago and the granitic outlines of the islands below. A really extraordinary point of Razzoli is, for example, Cala del Rosario with its incredible rocks, on the north coast. Besides, an ancient mule-track leads from Cala Lunga to the imposing lighthouse building, thus giving the opportunity of an easy and pleasant walk in the wild nature, in the heart of the island. From the lighthouse of Razzoli, as from all the other heights of the archipelago, the outline and high mounts of Corsica - which is very near with the islands of Lavezzi and Cavallo - are clearly visible. Razzoli is the perfect destination not to be missed for a wonderful sailing vacation in the Maddalena Archipelago, in Sardinia.

Santa Maria Island
Santa Maria, more verdant Santa Maria than the other minor islands of the Maddalena Archipelago, is the only one to be inhabited, even if almost exclusively in the mild season. In fact, some small villas stand next to the main beach, on the coast facing La Maddalena. The most striking places are: on the northern coast, the Passo dello Strangolato, a very narrow channel between Santa Maria and the island La Presa; on the western one, the Passo degli Asinelli, which separates Santa Maria from the island of Razzoli. The sea-beds, in this area, are often very shallow: if the sea level were just few metres less, the islands of Santa Maria, Razzoli and Budelli would certainly form one larger island. Other small beaches are to northwest: Cala Drappo and Cala Tamerici. In the southern side, there is a small perennial pond, named Padule, where numerous species of migrating marshy birds often stop. For all lovers of bird watching this is an ideal place, as well as for lovers of sailing vacation in Sardinia.

Spargi
Spargi is perhapsSpargi the most beautiful of the smaller islands of the Maddalena Archipelago. Its highest point is Colle Guardia Preposti (155 m) and its overall aspect is decidedly harsh, mountainous and wild. The coasts are generally high and rocky, with beautiful granite formations reflecting in the calm waters of the main inlets. The numerous coves, particularly spectacular owing to the transparence of the sea-beds and by the impending mass of granite bluffs, are covered with a thick vegetation and enriched with charming beaches of very fine sand washed by a sea with indescribable colours. The most beautiful are along the southern coast (Cala Corsara) and the eastern one (Cala Soraia, Cala Granara, Cala Conneri). The western coast, which is rather uneven, is made up of bluffs and granite clusters, eroded into the strangest shapes by the atmospheric agents: the head of a bulldog, a witch head, a boot that remebers the shape of Italy. The island, as all the others of the archipelago, is the destination of a great number of visitors coming from Palau, SantaTeresa and La Maddalena during the summer season. For his unique sea with the colours from turchese to the emerald green Spargi is one of the favourite destination for sailing charters in all Sardinia.

Stintino
Stintino was created Stintinooriginally from a settlement of 45 families caming from Asinara island which became, first Lazzaretto and then a Penal Colony. Over the last twenty years, thanks to members of the Sassari elite, Stintino has become a well known tourist destination, now considered one of the most important bathing resorts of the Northern Sardinian coast, one of the favourite destinations for a luxury sailing or motor yacht vacation in Sardinia. Stintino can be accessed only by boat. In Stintino it is interesting to visit the area which has developed around the old port, which still preserves the ancient heart of the original village and the Museum of the Tonnara.
StintinoThe coast of Stintino is a much sought after bathing area with deep crystal clear waters perfect for swimming. This makes of Stintino one of the favourite destinations for sailing boat charters from all over the world. The local beaches are renowned and "La Pelosa" beach is amongst the most beautiful beaches on Sardinia. La Pelosetta, Le Saline, and Ezzi Mannu are all worth a visit. Time your charter with italy yacht charters to coincide with one of Stintino’s festivals; the Rural Festival of Saint Isidoro in May, June sees the Tuna Festival, the village hosts the Latin Sail Regatta in late August and the Patron celebrations in honour of the Blessed Mary of Defence take place in September. If you like sailing Sardinia sea you will love Stintino.
