Kalymnos
Situated between Kos Kalymnosand Leros rises the fourth largest island in the Dodecanese; Kalymnos! Kalymnos is surrounded by other smaller Greek Islands, (islets) however, only Pserimos and Telendos are inhabited. Kalymnos, is best known as the island of some of the world's finest sponge divers. The sea has always been a focal element of local life, which has preserved its traditional character colour and style to a great extent. Its picturesque landscapes, its clear blue seas and the hospitality of the locals are just a small sample of what the island generously offers for your amazing sailing holidays. The islands is a perfect destination for a romantic sailing vacation among untouched nature of the Greek islands. Kos
The numerous Kosand beautiful beaches of Kos Greece are one of the main cause of the popularity of the island. Nestled in picturesque coves or extending over kilometres, those beaches have crystalline waters varying from azure to emerald. Some of them have smooth pebbles, others have fine white sand, others golden sand and some others are blessed with rare black sand. This make of Kos one of the favourite destination for sailing holidays among the Greece islands of Dodecanese. A very popular solution is renting a gullet or ketch with a group of friends (it is less expensive than one can think) enjoy a route of all the Dodecanese islands and touching the coast of Turkey.

Kos But Kos is ideal also for incentive programs and team building events. The touristy island of Kos has various bars and clubs, mostly located in its capital and its touristy resorts. All those places propose a wide range of music and the possibility to party until dawn. In Kos numerous taverns stay open until 2 am and proposing live traditional Greek music. It is lying between the islands of Nisyros and Kalymnos, close to the coasts of Asia Minor. A perfect area for holidays. Leros
Leros is Lerosone of the islands that have not been spoilt yet from mass tourism. The most populated village on Leros is Agia Marina, while Lakki follows next.. Its main tourist area is Alinda, while other interesting villages are the fishing village of Pandeli, Vromolithos with its amazing beach, Gourna, Xirokambos, Partheni and Blefouti. The "Kastro tis Panagias", built in the 11th century, dominates the mount Apitiki over Platanos, where most of the public services are found along with the town-hall. The military museum is at Merkia, built in a tunnel of WW2. The 60 kilometres long coastline of Leros is full of large bays and secluded coves, nestling large or small, picturesque beaches with golden or dark sand and crystalline waters.

LerosSome of those beaches are touristy beach resorts, others are fully-organised and others are calm, almost deserted, coil up in tiny coves and offering their serene beauty. This make of Leros a good stop during your sailing vacation on sailboats or luxury ketch/gulet in the Dodecaneso Islands. Leros is open to tourism only from a few years because it used to be the principal naval base for Italians and Germans, as well as a prison for political dissidents during the Greek junta (the dictatorship of Metaxas). But the island has some lovely beaches and secluded coves as well as a gentle countryside, impressive bays and a very attractive capital. Because of its hidden beauties and charms, Leros is really worth a visit.

Patmos
The eastern Patmos coast of Patmos Greece is embellished with fine sandy or pebbled beaches with crystalline and azure waters. Some of those beaches are secluded and almost deserted, while others are organised and propose various facilities and rentals. Tamarisk trees or impressive rocks are surrounding some of those small paradises. Despite the many signs forbidding nude bathing and topless, many beaches of Patmos are enjoyed this way. Only a very few bars and small clubs are available in the capital of Patmos Island, in Skala and in Kambos. This low-key nightlife is due to the intense religious past of the island and to the presence of the Monastery of Saint John. In Chora (the capital) Aloni Restaurant organises traditional nights with live Greek music and dance performances.

ParosIt is famous for its religious past, since it is in Patmos that Saint John the Divine wrote the Book of Revelation (the Apocalypse). For many years, the island was a place of pilgrimage for the Catholic and the Orthodox. In the sixties, Patmos became for a while a favourite destination for hippies, who were trying to experience the spiritual vibes of the island. Today, this mountainous island and its small coves attract sun lovers who wish to dive in its crystalline waters. From the islandís prior isolation and religiousness only the imposing Monastery of Saint John and the signs forbidding nude bathing and topless remain. Patmos is a worth to visit during your Dodecanese sailing cruise in Greece for its unique atmosphere, itís crystal sea and beautiful beaches.
