Our homeport Marina Kastela is Croatia’s newest marina, situated between Split and Trogir, two of the most beautiful towns of Middle Dalmatia. Split is a fascinating mediterranean town with a 1700 year old tradition well known for its variety of archaeological, historical and cultural monuments among which includes the Palace of Diocletian, inscribed into the UNESCO World Heritage List. The famous town of Trogir is itself a living museum. The old core was developed on the small island between the 13th and 15th centuries within the city walls and was reconstructed by Venice in the 15th century. This has also been inscribed into the UNESCO World Heritage List.
Kastela is composed by seven nice old places, seven citadels (Kastela - in English: Citadels),wich are an integral part of the tourist area between Split and Trogir. This region has been attracting people since ancient times, from ancient Greek seafarers, Roman patricians, Croatian kings and rulers, industrious fruit and vegetable growers to present-day touristsMarina Kaštela is the newest Croatian marina, situated on South-East shores of Kaštela bay shielded by Kozjak mountain from the North while Marjan and Ciovo peninsula guard its southern sea approach. Its outstanding geographical position in mid Adriatic, perfect to sail towards the most beautiful places of central Croazia, like enchanting Vis, Bol, Hvar Islands, amazink Makarka riviera and of course Split and Trogir Cities.
