Milazzo is a town on the north coast of Sicily, Italy. It lies 50 km from Messina just north of the road to Palermo. It is located on a Peninsula called "Capo di Milazzo". Capo Milazzo is a long, finger-like peninsula projecting due north into the Tyrrhenian Sea. The harbor of Milazzo is sheltered on the east side of the base of the peninsula. The town is dominated by the ancient Castle and it is surrounded by the sea. The western beach is very long with a view of the islands of Alicudi, Filicudi, Salina, Lipari and Vulcano.
